this is a excerpt from the movie HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM
When Ajay(vanraj) takes Aishwarya(Nandhini) to Italy
They go to a restraunt where Salmaan(Sameer) comes every friday...
this friday he does not...
Bar owner is a good friend of Sameer and welcomes them
Ajay dances with them and drinks...
and when they are coming back to the hotel they are staying in
he says the following dialogue...
you know mai usse mila
bahut achcha hai woh
hamesha khush rakhkhe ga tumhain
shayad mujhse jayada
shayad nahin, mujhse jayada khush rakhkhega woh tumhain
lekin ek baat kahoon...
kuch nahin......
you know jab tum chali jaogi

milne aaunga mai tumse
bahut khushi hogi mujhe tum logon se milke

kabhi kabhi khamoshi bhi kitna kuch bol deti hai
aur kabhi hazaaron sabd bhi kam pad jaate hain

it's not that ajay will marry again and then start enjoying his life. It just meant that he would be happy for her, because he knows that she is happy. When you hear him say these words in the movie you also get to hear the unsaid message... his emotions. That's how 'kuch nahin' becomes 'sab kuch'

Dear Anon, i can't really say. I haven't witnessed any thing close it, but would be very happy to find people with such callibre. Here is how Ajay defines the character of a real man. i will write it in my next comment.

Well, i don't have any other option because it happens to me all the time:( :( :((...
on a serious note, do we really have anyother option if such a thing happens? What will happen if i keep yourself sad. I will be sad, that's it. Nothing else. The person whom I loved is happy anyways as she is getting the love she wants, so it's better I also be happy rather than being sad. By writing "I am sure you wouldn't." you made very clear how you think and that you would not be happy in such a circumstance. Dear Anon, you should not rush into conclusions and definetly not for persons whom you don't even know. How can you be so sure about me when you haven't even met me or known me. How you feel may not always be the case with others.
It would be good if you meet me, i mean interact with me. Lets be friends. Why is there a veil of anonymity between us?
These things are good to see in movies, but not in real life. definetly! In real life we don't get see such things, sad i would say. In real life people tend to do terrible things to themselves and thinking of themselves as a hero. I have a living example of such a person. I am not claiming to be a great person myself but just wanted to say what i felt.

Dad: Sab laffbaazi hai, courtroom main roz sunta rehta hoon sabdon ki is jaadugari ko main. Kehna bahut aasaan hai lekin karna bahut mushkil. Bardaash kar paoge woh lamha jab kisi gair ke haath main us ladki ka haath doge jisse tum itni mohabbat karte ho.
Ajay: pyar khudgarz nahin... pyar apni khushi main nahin balki jinhain tum pyar karte ho unki khushi main hai..
main janta hoon woh lamha mere liye bahut takleef deh hoga, lekin uski ek muskurahat mere saare gum bhuladegi. us waqt shayad mujhe aapke sahare aur aashirwaad ki zaroorat padegi.

What i meant by the quoted sentence was 'because you thought that i think that way, i concluded that you think that way', which you cleared in the next post that you don't. You are better off many such people. Great!
